Peterborough Litter Wombles (PLW) receive, collect and store all information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We may measure and collect session information. This includes session information, response times, lengths of visits to certain pages. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name and email).

We collect such personal information for the sole purpose of providing details related to the cleaning up of litter within the Peterborough boundaries as defined by wards. We show details of areas where litter is reported including areas where hazardous materials are found and or reported to us. We also upload photos of litter picking events that include people as volunteers who have agreed to those photos being taken as part of litter events. Such photos are place in the gallery section of the website only and must not be used by any other organisation without prior permission from PLW.

We comply with the laws and regulations associated with use of this website as a private function associated with volunteer litter picking events in Peterborough. 

We are hosted on the Wix.com platform. We may contact you to notify you regarding your profile to trouble shoot and/or resolve any issues that might arise. For these purposes we will contact you by the email you provide. Should you no longer wish to be an account holder, please contact us by email. We reserve the right to modify this privacy at any time, so please view it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make any material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
