Upcoming Events

Meeting at Castor village green we'll be litter picking pretty much the whole of Castor with Castor and Ailsworth Parish Council and having a drink at the Feathers afterwards for anyone who would like to join us.

All are welcome and equipment will be provided.

Meeting at the Charteris Centre (free parking), we'll litter pick along Redmile Walk, up Eye Road and on to Belvoir Way to where we finished litter picking last time.

Halloween themed litter pick aimed at families during half term, organised by PCC with support from PLW. It's as much about having fun as litter picking and Halloween costumes may be worn.

Clearing the heavily littered park area around the rugby club. The club have kindly offered a hot drink any time from 9.30, and we'll start the litter pick at 10 and aim to finish at 12 as usual.
There should be a mix of easy pickings in the park areas and deep rubbish in the vegetation where there could be fly tips and all sorts.
